NEW for Brighton

I've just completed a little brown bear and two lovely winter bears for the Great Brighton Teddy Bear Event this Sunday.

This is the first bear, he is made from beautifully soft creamy white alpaca and has matching wool felt footpads. he is 9.5" (24cm) tall and has dark brown glass eyes, with shading around and a dark brown embroidered nose which is also lightly shaded around. I haven't decided what to call him yet, but it will have to be something wintry as he is all ready for Christmas wearing his red bow, red check fabric stars and a big red bell on a ribbon around his neck.
I have named this bear Snowball.

The second bear is also made from alpaca but I have hand-dyed this piece a lovely pale silver grey colour. He has slightly darker grey paw pads, black glass eyes with shading around and a pinky/grey embroidered nose. This little chap is slightly smaller at 8" (20cm) tall and he is also decorated ready for Christmas, wearing a red bow, a white bell on a curly ribbon and a shiny white snowflake which can just be seen.above the bell.  This bear is now named Noel - very seasonal!  SOLD

                                           They snuggle so well together!!

This is the last little bear, for now anyway!  He is made from short pile dark brown sparse felted mohair with his muzzle and the inside of his ears in a light beige mohair. He has dark brown wool felt foot pads, a dark brown embroidered nose and tiny black glass eyes.  This little bear is only 4.5" (11cm) tall to the tips of his ears and has his arms set back slightly so that he can rest back on his paws!
Another nameless bear - I've got lots of thinking to do!!

This little chap is no longer nameless - he is now named Bruno.  Sorry Bruno is SOLD

These bears and more will be available at the Great Brighton Teddy Bear Event THIS Sunday 8th December in the Hove Town Hall, Norton Road, Hove BN3 4AH  For all the detail just click the link on the right.

I can't wait for this new show, it should be a great day out, so see you there...!
