Well only 5 days to go until The Great Brighton Teddy Bear Event!!
This is only the second year of this show and it's looking like it's going to be a great day!!
The event is organised by Katherine Hallam of Katie Rae Bears and if you've ever been up to The Great Yorkshire Teddy Bear Event in Sheffield, you will know what to expect! Katherine does her utmost to ensure everybody has a good time - so come along to Hove Town Hall on Sunday 7th December and join in the fun!!

All the Mabledon Road Bears are getting excited - are you?
They are putting on their scarves and getting ready for their trip to the seaside. And just to prove it, look at these two......

This is Rafferty and he is 10" (25cm) tall. He is made from greyish/gold coloured curly mohair with upholstery fabric paw pads that match the mohair backing colour. Rafferty has dark amber glass eyes with subtle shading around, a dark brown embroidered nose and an open mouth showing his little pink felt tongue.
Rafferty is already wearing his new hand knitted scarf in shades of blue and purple, and he can't wait to meet everybody in Brighton on Sunday!

And this is Sebastian....

Sebastian is an old style bear and is made from sparse gold coloured mohair which has been further aged to give him a worn but loved look! His foot pads are made from very dark gold wool felt and he has embroidered claws. Sebastian has amber brown glass eyes and a worn out looking embroidered black nose which has been subtly shaded to look a bit dirty, as have his feet and paws.
Sebastian is showing off his hand knitted multi coloured scarf and practising his sad look in the hope of finding a new forever home!

Awww look at that sad little face - how can you resist....Sebastian would love to come home with you on Sunday!

And I'm now working on a lady friend for Sebastian......

This is a work in progress, so watch this space......
