Teddy Bear Artist Event - June 10th

Not long to go now until the Teddy Bear Artist Event held in the Civic Hall, 14 Rother Street, Stratford-Upon -Avon CV37 6LU.
This is always a very busy, well run fair with all profits going to the British Heart Foundation.  There will be, as usual, an Exhibitors Challenge the subjects this year will be "Teddy Bears Picnic" and "A Rainbow of Bears".  These categories should make for a very colourful table of exhibits!
There will also be a raffle where lots of the bear artists exhibiting donate a bear. Have a go you could be lucky and go home with a new bear!
The fair is open from 11am to 4pm and entry is only £3.00 with under 16's going free.  There is lots of parking nearby and the railway station is within walking distance.  And lots of lovely cakes and sandwiches will be available- what more could you ask for?  Bears and cakes- sounds like heaven to me!!

For more info go to www.teddybearartistevent.co.uk

Hope to see you there for a super day out and loads of bears to choose from!!

QUEENIE

Queenie is my contribution to the Diamond Jubilee celebrations.  Queenie is 6" (15cm) tall and is sitting in her sparkly bubble bath having a relaxing soak.  She is made from sparse yellow mohair with white footpads, black glass eyes, a black nose and rosy pink cheeks.  Queenie is wearing her best crown complete with sparkly "diamonds".  She also has a box of choccies - which she has been dipping into - on her bath mat and a white towel draped over a green sofa.  Also on the sofa is a china tea pot and a lovely cup of tea!  £49

BUTTON

This is Button.  He is made from bright yellow mohair with toning paw pads and is 8" (20 cm) tall.  Button has black glass eyes and a black embroidered nose and is wearing his favourite stripy t-shirt with coloured buttons.  You can guess why he's called Button!

ARLO

ARLO is 10" (25cms) tall and is made from yellow mohair and alpaca mix with toning paw pads.  He has black glass eyes and a black embroidered nose.  Arlo is £65 and can be seen at my next fair in Stratford upon Avon on June 10th.

Beaulieu Bear Fair

I have booked to attend a bear fair in Beaulieu this summer.  The fair is run by Bear It In Mind, the bear shop in Beaulieu High Street and takes place on Sunday 24th June.  This fair celebrates it's 5th year this summer and sounds like a lot of fun as the whole village takes part!
Come along if you can and join in the fun.
